Radar began as a system for strategic signals regarding AI. That initial setup was not a success. Therefore, Radar now has a different focus: a blog-like aggregator of news that interests me, supplemented with positive news.
Starting with curiosity
The starting point is personal: which developments do I want to follow, what makes me curious, and what do I find worth reading? AI and technology are part of it, but so are science, health, climate and nature, space, creativity, and society.
That selection does not have to be the same for everyone. On Radar, you can discover topics, choose your interests, and save stories. Every story includes the source, so you can read further.
Also room for good news
Wars, crises, and other misery receive a lot of attention daily. I want to place something alongside that: news about what is improving, what people are discovering, and what is becoming possible.
Positive news is therefore a conscious addition. Not to gloss over problems, but to also see developments that provide hope. The 'Good news' selection makes those stories easy to find separately.
A different intention
The previous description was about early-warning signals, atomic claims, and tools for executives and compliance teams. That is no longer the approach this page is meant to convey.
Radar is now intended to be read and discovered. A collection based on my interests, where others will hopefully also find something that appeals to them.
